The country's largest real estate developer in terms of booking value in the financial year 2024 has released the results for the July-September quarter. The company's results were excellent on a year-on-year basis. In the second quarter, the booking value of Godrej Properties has increased by 3% year-on-year to ₹ 5198 crore. The company's profits and income have also seen a tremendous increase.
During the second quarter, the company has delivered projects of 66 lakh square feet in different projects in 3 cities. Along with this, new projects and phases have been launched in 4 cities.
Talking about the results of the July-September quarter, the consolidated profit of the company has increased by 400% on a year-on-year basis. The company's profit in the same quarter of the previous financial year was ₹ 67 crores. In the September quarter of the current financial year, the profit of Godrej Properties was ₹ 335 crores.
How were the results?
Talking about the income during this period, it has also seen a growth of 218% year-on-year. As against the income of ₹ 343 crore in the September quarter of last year, the income in the second quarter this year was ₹ 1093 crore. The company has recorded EBITDA of ₹ 32 crore from an EBITDA loss of ₹ 62 crore. Along with the results, the company has also informed about tax write back of ₹ 169 crore.
The company has achieved 51% of the guidance set for the financial year 2025 in the first 6 months. During the last 5 years, the company completes 37% of the sales in the first half. There is strong demand in Delhi-NCR Godrej Vrikshya project. The booking value of this project is ₹ 1,493 crore. Demand has also been good for Godrej Woodside in Mumbai. The booking value of this project is around ₹ 610 crore.
