Tech Mahindra Ltd has announced a dividend of Rs 15 per share of face value of Rs 5. According to an exchange filing on Saturday, the company has fixed November 1 as the record date for receiving the dividend.
The IT firm has to pay dividend on or before November 17 to eligible shareholders whose names are recorded in the register of members of the company.
Tech Mahindra has announced dividends for its investors more than 25 times so far. The company first announced a dividend of Rs 4 for investors on 27 October 2008.
Earlier, the company had announced a dividend of Rs 28 on July 19, 2024, Rs 12 on November 02, 2023 and Rs 32 on July 21, 2023. Talking about bonus shares, till now the company had once announced bonus shares for investors on 19 March 2015.
firm's net profit rose 45.4% to Rs 1,257.5 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year, higher than analysts' estimates. Talking about the income from operations, it stood at Rs 13,313.2 crore, which is 2.4% higher on a sequential basis and 3.5% on a year-on-year basis.
